What course of study in Anthropology did the author pursue after his BA? What I mean is, I can be a Business graduate but focus on accounting or economics, totally different disciplines that really don't have to do with the other in day to day practice. The author seems to have the history of anthropological discoveries somewhat correct, however his arguements are supported on that alone... and that alone is an undergraduate exercise in philosophy in religion.
The author should consider the more effects of biology, culture and geographic environment in his arguement. All subjects of which are in reach of our anthropologic discipline. Secondly, dominant traits are selected by means of rejection, not acceptance. The fact is, nobody knows who we come from, but we do have a good idea where we come from.
The author makes a strong, one sided (online) arguement based on limited knowledge. Anyone who is able to read, and can navigate a mousepad can get an idea of how these processees work, and thus see for themselves how diversely God made his creatures.
Pertaining to evolution (yes, that is the bad word), those who claim or disclaim their origins are those who either do not know any better, do not want to learn more, or do not know other ideas or concepts. Should they not fall within any of these three categories I would call them heretics, claiming to know what God's plan is or was. As a Christian, thought, idea, action is what I was taught as obligation, and from what I've seen, most predominant religious disciplines in the world adhere to the same virtues. Make yourself a distinguished community member in idea and make known the work of God.
